DO I NEED TO DROP MY CAR OFF MYSELF OR CAN YOU PICK IT UP?
We offer a collection and delivery service in Essex, Dunmow and Harlow for your convenience.
DO YOU USE GENUINE LAND ROVER PARTS?
Here at Broadfields, we stock and use genuine Land Rover parts (unless you would prefer otherwise).
WHEN IS MY FIRST MOT REQUIRED?
A brand new car is unlikely to need any repairs straight away, but legally your car’s first MOT is required when it is three years old to the calendar day. There are schemes you can sign up to that remind you when your car needs its MOT, but if not, it is up to you to look up when your car was first registered. Either way, we are more than happy to carry out your MOT when the time comes. Every car must then undergo a new MOT every 12 months following its first MOT.
DOES MY CAR AIR CONDITIONING NEED TO BE SERVICED, AND IF SO, HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO IT?
It is important to get the air conditioning in your car serviced every few years, as it loses 10% of its efficiency every year.
WHAT TYRES CAN I GET FOR MY LAND ROVER?
We stock a range of tyres, including Coopers, Goodyears and General Grabbers, but can get hold of most types of tyres at your request.
I HAVE A CLASSIC CAR; DO YOU STOCK THE PARTS?
Yes, we stock parts for classic Land Rovers, including the Land Rover Defender. Land Rover have committed to supplying Land Rover Defender spare parts for an additional 15 years once production ended at the Solihull manufacturing facility.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU EXCEPT?
We accept cheques, cash, debit or credit cards, but don’t take American Express.
DO YOU REPLACE KEYS?
We understand that losing your car keys is very frustrating, but no need to worry as Broadfields can replace them for you.
MY CAR STILL HAS A WARRANTY, WILL THIS BE AFFECTED IF I HAVE IT SERVICED AT BROADFIELDS?
Servicing your car at Broadfields Garage won’t affect your warranty.

Either pop into the garage or simply give us a call or an email and we will happily give you a quote, before you have to commit to anything.
CAN YOU MAKE MY CAR SAFE FOR WINTER?
The winter months are often coupled with icy, slippery roads, but we can make sure your Land Rover is safe and well equipped, allowing you to have a care free drive.
Our winter service will make sure your tyres can cope with the wintery conditions, and we are able to fit tyre chains when the snow hits. We’ll check your car completely, including its anti-freeze, break lights, wipers, battery and alternator belt and more, so you can have a comfortable journey, knowing that you can rely on your Land Rover.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY CAR SERVICED?
Depending on how much your Land Rover gets used, you should get your car serviced every year or every 12,000 miles (whichever one comes first).
