Why Should You Keep Your Land Rover Tyres in Good Condition?
It is not only important to keep your tyres in good order for legal reasons, but also Fuel Economy, handling and driving safety. Your tyre needs to have a tread depth of at least 1.6mm throughout a continuous band, comprising the central three-quarters of the breadth of the tread and around the entire outer circumference of the tyre. (Breadth of tread means the width of that part of the tyre which is in contact with the road surface under normal conditions).
When Do Your Land Rover Tyres Need Replacing?
We recommend you replace your tyres at 3mm to aid the dispersal of standing water. This applies to tyres on cars, light vans (not exceeding 3,500kg gross weight) and light trailers.
What Tyres Do We Stock?
We have a large range of Land Rover, Range Rover tyres and Freelander tyres in stock available. If what you’re looking for is not in stock, they can usually be sourced by the next working day.
What is a Wheel Alignment Service?
We are able to offer 4 wheel laser alignment to all our customers. This alignment is highly accurate & much better value for money than the old fashioned type of wheel alignment still carried out by many garages. 4 wheel alignment is essential on modern cars, with the front and rear toe, caster and camber often requiring adjustment.
Some benefits of wheel alignment are:
- Improved Fuel Economy
- Lower CO2 emissions
- Maximum Tyre Life
- Vehicle Safety
- Driver Comfort
